Flat Stanley Projects

Last fall during library classes, first graders listened to Flat Stanley as part of the Global Read Aloud project. We have had four Flat friends visiting Sand Lake Elementary. Salute to Seuss

On March 2nd, Sand Lake Elementary celebrated Read Across America.  We saluted Dr. Seuss with fun activities in the cafeteria, in the library, and in our classrooms. This Animoto video captures highlights from the day.

Read Across America

Today we celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday and Read Across America. Our day began with the Reader's Oath on the morning announcements. It's great to see so many Sand Lake students and staff excited about reading!
